Hello! I’m Amber Payne…

…and I've been a professional illustrator for the past eight years. My passion for drawing and painting started as soon as I could hold a pencil, and it has been a constant in my life ever since. While I initially pursued a degree in psychology, I quickly realized that my true calling was in art, and I haven’t looked back since.

My work is deeply inspired by the world around me, especially the things that bring comfort and joy. I draw from the charm of children's books, the serenity of nature, the warmth of nostalgia, and the simple pleasures of cozy activities. I love celebrating the little things in life and infusing my art with messages of encouragement and self-care.

As part of a military family, I’ve had the privilege of calling many places home, from the deserts of Nevada to the mountains of Utah, the coasts of California, and the forests of Georgia. Now, we’ve just settled in beautiful Bavaria, Germany. I work from my desk, surrounded by books, and I’m thrilled to explore all that Europe has to offer.

When I’m not creating art, you’ll find me immersed in a good book, working on an embroidery project, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or simply exploring the world around me. I believe in living a life filled with creativity, and I’m excited to share my journey with you.
